Due to instructor scheduling, course preparation, certification requirements, and administrative costs, the following refund, cancellation, and rescheduling policies apply to all registrations and bundled course purchases.
• Once a certification has been issued and/or claimed through the American Heart Association, refunds cannot be provided under any circumstances.
• Completion of any portion of a course, skills session, online component review, or issuance of certification materials may make the registration ineligible for refund consideration.
• Refund requests must be submitted by email or phone prior to the scheduled class start time.
• Cancellations requested more than 7 days prior to the scheduled class date may qualify for a refund, account credit, or rescheduling option.
• Cancellations requested within 7 days of the scheduled class date are subject to manual review and are not guaranteed an immediate refund.
• Due to reserved instructor time, administrative preparation, and course material allocation, late cancellations may instead qualify for:
• Approved refunds may require up to 10–14 business days for processing.
• Capitol CPR reserves the right to review and approve refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
• Promotional pricing, bundled course discounts, and package rates are offered based on reserved enrollment commitments.
• If a bundled registration is partially completed, partially canceled, or modified after booking, Capitol CPR reserves the right to adjust pricing to reflect standard individual course rates.
• Discounts, coupons, and promotional offers may not be reapplied after cancellation or rescheduling.
• Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior notice will be considered a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.
• No-show registrations may qualify for rescheduling at the discretion of Capitol CPR and may be subject to additional administrative or course fees.
• Participants who are unable to attend may request to reschedule for a future available class date, subject to availability.
• One-time rescheduling may be permitted for qualifying registrations.
• Additional rescheduling requests may require a new registration or additional fees.
• Registration reserves instructor time, certification inventory, and administrative preparation.
• Capitol CPR reserves the right to reschedule, combine, or cancel classes due to instructor availability, weather conditions, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
• If Capitol CPR cancels a class directly, participants will be offered either:
Instructor Arrival / Class Start Window
Due to traffic, facility access, prior course overruns, or operational factors, classes may begin within a 15–20 minute operational grace window of the scheduled start time.
Students who voluntarily leave prior to the start of class during this operational window may forfeit attendance and refund eligibility unless otherwise approved by management.
By registering for any course through Capitol CPR, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Return & Refund Policy.
